 North Greenville Fitness and Cardiac Rehabilitation Clinic, Inc.is a medically monitored fitness and cardiac rehabilitation clinic with a staff of qualified professionals.  Located in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, North Greenville Fitness has been in existence since October of 1980.  The services of North Greenville Fitness are provided at your location and are available to numerous types of industries including fire, police, and emergency medical services as well as utility departments.

 We currently provide annual health and fitness evaluations to nearly 10,000 individuals in Fire, Haz-Mat, Law Enforcement, EMS, Water and Sewer, Emergency Medical Service, and Utility departments in South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Missouri, Florida, Illinois, and Louisiana.  The Fire Service, however, has comprised the majority of our clientele over the past 28 years.

 North Greenville Fitness actually came into existence because of the Fire Service.  In 1980, O.S.H.A. established that as of September 15, 1990, all fire departments in the United States must have a Health Screening and Fitness Program.  This regulation is 1920.156, subpart L, Appendix A, which states, "employers shall assure that employees who are expected to do interior structural fire fighting are physically capable of perfoming those duties which may be assigned to them during emergencies."  The regulation also states, "the employer shall not permit employees with known heart disease, epilepsy, or emphysema to participate in fire brigade emergency activities unless a physician's certificate is provided."  Thus, North Greenville Fitness was established with its related services and has also been proven to work well in markets other than the fire service.
